The Ferrari 250 GTO is a racing coupe of the early 1960s, built for the GT category of the day. Under its long hood works a three-liter V12 engine; the body has a low nose with three openings above the grille, a drawn-out spine and a short, cut-off tail. Only a few dozen cars were built, and their successes in touring car competition made the type one of the most sought-after pieces of automotive history.
Set the model so that direct sunlight does not fall on it; harsh light shifts the shade of the paint and the color of small parts over time. Lift dust off with a soft long-bristled brush; a cloth catches on mirrors, wipers and other thin parts and breaks them off easily. Pick the model up by the chassis or by the roof, not by the bumpers.
The package holds the model of the car. A display case, a base and other accessories do not belong with it, unless stated otherwise.
