Responsibility details are not available.
This injection-molded plastic kit from the Japanese manufacturer FineMolds captures the German Messerschmitt Bf 109 F-2 fighter in 1:72 scale. FineMolds is renowned for precise molding and even in this small scale it offers a carefully worked cockpit, a well shaped fuselage and separate engine cowling panels. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Bf 109 F, nicknamed the Friedrich, was one of the most elegant versions of the legendary Messerschmitt. Compared with the earlier E series it received an aerodynamically cleaner airframe, rounded wingtips and a more powerful Daimler-Benz engine. The F-2 version carried an engine-mounted 15 mm cannon and was flown above all in 1941 and 1942 over the English Channel and on the Eastern Front.
Cut the small parts off with a sharp knife and bond them with thin cement for plastic. Apply a primer before the finish; using an airbrush will improve the transitions of the camouflage schemes typical of the Luftwaffe. Fit out the cockpit before closing the fuselage and mask the glazing.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
