1:43 Skoda 1202 (1964) in the Fire Protection release is a finished collector's model in the colors of the Czechoslovak fire protection service from the Abrex brand. It is not a kit.

The collector's model captures the Skoda 1202 in the service release of the fire protection service, as it could be met in the nineteen-sixties. The model is supplied finished, assembled and painted, so it is neither built nor glued. The 1:43 scale is the most widespread with collector's car models, which makes it easier to build a coherent collection of service vehicles alongside each other.
The Skoda 1202 followed on from the type 1201 and was produced from the beginning of the nineteen-sixties, in the later phase at Vrchlabi. The car was built on a backbone frame with an inline four-cylinder engine of about 1.2 liters and it was offered in a row of body versions, from a station wagon through an ambulance and a flatbed to a box van. It was precisely the variety of bodies and the simple maintenance that made the 1202 a suitable chassis for service use. Cars in the colors of the fire protection service served as liaison, technical and support vehicles of the units, where what mattered was not a fire-fighting tanker but the quick movement of people, materiel and communications equipment.
The model is intended for a display case. Display it out of direct sunlight; long exposure fades the colors, which is particularly apparent with a pronounced red. Remove the dust with a soft brush, not with a cloth, which scratches the surface. Do not use water or solvents. In a collection the model goes well with the other service releases of the same line, with which the difference in the paint and in the purpose of the car stands out.
This is a finished collector's model, not a kit. It is supplied assembled and painted.
