Injection-molded plastic kit of the multirole helicopter Aerospatiale SA 365N Dauphin 2 in 1:48 scale from Trumpeter. The model offers a faithful exterior, a detailed cabin, a four-blade main rotor and a tail rotor built into the vertical fin. The box holds plastic parts, a clear sprue and a decal sheet.
The SA 365N Dauphin 2 is a French medium twin-engine multirole helicopter, originally from Aerospatiale. The SA 365N version brought more powerful engines, retractable nose gear and reworked tail surfaces. The machine is used in civil as well as military service for carrying passengers and for rescue and search duties; the tail rotor housed directly in the vertical fin is characteristic.
Assemble the rotor head with the four-blade main rotor and pay attention to the tail rotor in the fin. Paint the detailed cabin and the interior before you close up the fuselage, fit the clear glazing only after spraying and mask the frames. Glue the retractable landing gear and the small parts with liquid cement for plastic, a drop at a time. We recommend a primer and spraying with an airbrush; with civil gloss finishes a smooth base and polishing show to advantage, and a fine wash will bring the engraved lines to life.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
