This is not a model but a resin detail set for Avia S-199 models. It contains a precisely cast propeller including the blades and the hub, together with an assembly jig (a template) that helps to build the propeller and to set it with the correct blade angle and spacing. The set replaces the less accurate plastic part and visibly raises the level of the model.
The Avia S-199 (nicknamed Mezek, the mule) was a postwar Czechoslovak fighter derived from the Messerschmitt Bf 109G, fitted with the engine and propeller of the He 111 bomber. The combination of the airframe and the heavy propeller gave the machine an unmistakable profile, and it is exactly the faithful shape of the propeller that is key for a model.
Wash the resin parts free of the mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and sand the surfaces with respiratory protection. Assemble the propeller with the help of the jig supplied, so that all the blades are at the same angle. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue).
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
