This resin set of aviation accessories from the Czech manufacturer Aerobonus represents the Soviet B-8M rocket launchers for unguided S-8 rockets of 80 mm caliber. It is not an aircraft model but external stores that can be added to the pylons of combat aircraft models in 1:48 scale.
The B-8M is a rocket pod for unguided S-8 rockets of 80 mm caliber. It was carried by Soviet and Russian combat aircraft and helicopters for attacks on ground targets. A single block holds several tubes for firing the rockets in a salvo.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and gently sand the surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways while sanding. Dark metallic shades will underline the metal surfaces, and you can suggest wear with a fine wash and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
