This resin set of aviation accessories from the Czech manufacturer Aerobonus represents the Soviet BetAb-500 penetration (concrete-piercing) aerial bombs of roughly the 500 kg class. It is not an aircraft model but external stores that can be added to the pylons of combat aircraft models in 1:48 scale.
The BetAb-500 is a Soviet penetration bomb intended to destroy hardened targets, concrete shelters and runways. Thanks to its strong body it breaks through hard obstacles and explodes only behind them. It was carried by Soviet attack and fighter aircraft.
First wash the mold release residue off the parts, cut off the casting blocks and gently sand the surfaces. Glue them with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue) and protect your airways while sanding. Dark metallic shades will underline the metal surfaces, and you can suggest wear with a fine wash and pigments.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
