A resin set of control surfaces from Aires. It replaces the moving surfaces of a plastic kit, that is the ailerons, the elevator and the rudder, with more accurate castings and lets you deflect them for a livelier pose. It is an accessory for more experienced modelers, built into a base model of the Messerschmitt Bf 109F in 1:48 scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109 was a German single-seat fighter used in the Second World War. The Bf 109F version, nicknamed the Friedrich, brought an aerodynamically cleaned-up airframe with rounder wing and cowling shapes. It is among the best-known fighters of its day.
First wash the parts to remove any mold release agent, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the mating surfaces. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and protect your airways while sanding resin. Lay down a primer before painting; choose how far to deflect the control surfaces to suit the scene and blend the transitions on the wing carefully.
