This set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale from the Hungarian maker SBS Model brings markings for the British twin-engined bomber the Bristol Blenheim Mk. IV in the colors of the Finnish Air Force during the Second World War. It is not a model but an accessory with which you can bring a kit of this aircraft to life with authentic national insignia.
The Bristol Blenheim was a British light bomber, and in the Mk. IV version it was marked by a lengthened glazed nose. Finland operated these machines both from British deliveries and from domestic license production and deployed them in the fighting against the Soviet Union. The Finnish Blenheims carried the characteristic blue swastika insignia and various camouflage schemes.
Apply the decals onto a smooth gloss varnish, which prevents the silvering effect under the film of the decal. Use decal softeners and fixers so that the markings adhere perfectly even to broken-up surfaces. Once they have dried, overcoat the whole model with a matte or semi-gloss varnish according to the look you want.
