A set of wet, that is, waterslide decals in 1:48 scale focused on a less usual chapter: captured machines of the Soviet MiG-3 fighter in foreign service. The set makes it possible to build an unconventional variant of this aircraft with national markings other than those an ordinary kit offers.
The Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-3 was a Soviet single-seat fighter of the start of the Second World War, optimized for combat at high altitude. It was marked by the long cowling of its V engine and by good performance at altitude, while its agility near the ground lagged behind. Some captured machines were tested and operated by the enemy at the time, which led to interesting combinations of original and new markings.
