Czechoslovak pilots in Ilyushin Il-2m3, Part I 1:48 is a decal sheet from AML with two schemes of the Ilyushin Il-2m3 ground-attack aircraft with Czechoslovak crews, for models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This decal sheet in 1:48 scale from the Czech manufacturer AML brings two schemes of the Ilyushin Il-2m3 ground-attack aircraft flown by Czechoslovak pilots in the closing stage of the Second World War. The first part of the series covers markings from the period April to May 1945. AML is a Czech manufacturer with rich register and thin film.
The Ilyushin Il-2 was an armored ground-attack aircraft, the Shturmovik, which became a symbol of Soviet support for the ground forces; the two-seat Il-2m3 version added a rear defensive gun position. Czechoslovak airmen operated it in the liberation of their homeland. The set brings codes, red stars and other markings matching the end of the war.
Coat the surface with a gloss varnish, release the decal in warm water, position it and press the remaining water out with a cloth; a decal softener helps over detail. Finally even the surface out with a matte or semi-gloss varnish.
This is an add-on decal sheet. The model, the glue and the paints are not included in the package.
