A pre-cut Reskit masking set 1:32 for the two-seat MiG-29UB is an accessory for the Trumpeter kit for spraying the cockpit framing cleanly.
Responsibility details are not available.
The package contains pre-cut masks for a model of the two-seat MiG-29UB trainer version from the Trumpeter kit in 1:32 scale. It is not a kit but an accessory for painting. The shapes are cut in advance and all you do is peel them off and transfer them to the model.
The trainer version has a tandem cockpit with two hinged sections and a transverse frame between them — compared with the single-seater, then, both the length of the glazing and the number of edges that have to be straight increase. In the large 1:32 scale the shape of the curve of the canopy also comes into play, and that is where tape is hardest to bend by hand. A pre-cut piece follows the outline of the framing as the model has it, so guessing the width is no longer needed.
Degrease the glazing before applying the mask and let it dry. Lay the masks on from the center, press the edges down and check against the light whether a gap has been left anywhere. Spray the paint in thin layers; the first of them can be in the shade of the interior of the framing, so that any bleeding does not show. Take the mask off with tweezers at an angle shortly after the paint has dried.
This is an accessory for a model, not the model itself. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
