A detail wheel set for models of the French Dassault Mirage III fighter in the A version in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not an airplane kit but a standalone accessory that replaces the wheels from an ordinary kit with more faithful parts in cast resin and 3D print with fine tread relief.
The Mirage III is a French supersonic fighter with a characteristic delta wing that entered service at the turn of the 1950s and 1960s. The IIIA version was a small pre-production batch that preceded the main production variants. The machine became famous through its export to many of the world's air forces.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, separate the casting blocks and glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Shade the tires in a matte blackish gray and the rims in metallic shades with subtle accentuation. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The airplane kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
