A set of waterslide decals in 1:48 scale for models of the American Curtiss P-40 fighter, aimed at the machines delivered to the Allies under the Lend-Lease program. It contains national insignia and individual markings for supplementing or replacing the decals of a kit. The set offers several schemes to choose from.
The Curtiss P-40 was an American single-seat fighter with a V12 engine, one of the most widespread at the beginning of the Second World War. Under the Lend-Lease program it went to several Allied air forces, where it served in varied schemes and with different national markings.
Apply the decals onto a smooth, glossy, degreased varnish. After soaking, let the decal rest, slide it into place and press the excess water gently out. Decal softeners prove their worth in settling them onto engraving and details. Finally go over everything with a varnish to the degree of gloss you want.
