1:48 Defiant Mk.I "B" Camouflage Patterns /AFX

Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I painting mask - scheme B (1:48)

A set of self-adhesive painting masks from AML for Boulton Paul Defiant Mk.I models in 1:48 scale. The mask reproduces the upper camouflage pattern of the British scheme B, so you can spray the boundaries of the color fields without slow masking with tape.

The real subject

The Boulton Paul Defiant was a British fighter with an unusual layout: all the armament was carried in a powered turret behind the pilot and the wing was left without fixed machine guns. By day it did not prove itself against single-seat fighters, but it found its place as a night fighter. The upper surfaces carried the standard British earth camouflage in two mirror patterns.

Use

• Transfer the parts onto the dried base shade.
• The mask defines the second camouflage shade; press the edges down thoroughly.
• Spray in thin coats and take the mask off while the paint is still fresh.

Who it is for

For modelers who want crisp and repeatable camouflage on this distinctive fighter.

This is a mask set, not a model and not paints. The kit and paints are not included in the package.
