A set of wheels for a model of the EC665 Tiger attack helicopter in 1:48 scale, by its name intended for the Revell kit. It replaces the wheels from the kit parts.
Responsibility details are not available.
The EC665 Tiger is a European attack helicopter with twin-engine power, a slender fuselage with a two-seat stepped tandem cockpit and stub wings for carried armament. Unlike a number of other attack machines it sits on wheeled landing gear, so the wheels are clearly visible on a finished model and their execution tells on the final impression.
This is a replacement set of wheels in 1:48 scale. By its name it is intended for the kit from the Revell brand; the exact number of parts and the way they are fitted is given in the manufacturer's instructions. The model of the helicopter and other parts are not included.
Try the wheels dry first in the place they are to go, and only then glue them. Cut the excess material away with a sharp blade a little from the part and sand the remainder carefully, so that the shape of the contact surface is not damaged. Wash and degrease the parts before painting. It works well to paint the hub and the tire separately: first the whole part in the tire shade, then move on to the hub with masking or with a steady hand. The suitable glue and the procedure are given in the manufacturer's instructions.
The set suits a modeler who wants to lift the landing gear above the level of the parts from the base kit without having to cut into the whole structure. The work is concentrated in a few parts and a less experienced builder will manage it, provided care is taken over the clean-up.
The model of the helicopter, paints and glue are not included in the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
