An injection-molded plastic kit of the F-16AM Block 20 multirole fighter in 1:48 scale from Kinetic. The AM version is the upgraded single-seat F-16, used by a number of European air forces. The model offers the breakdown needed to capture the particulars of this upgraded variant of the airframe and the avionics.
The F-16 is a single-engine multirole fighter with one pilot, characterized by its bubble canopy and lightweight aerodynamics. The AM version came from a program to upgrade older machines of the A series and brought new avionics and extended air-to-air and air-to-ground capabilities. Block 20 denotes a particular production and upgrade standard of the airframe.
Take care over a clean fit of the fuselage halves and the seating of the cockpit and the nose. Underwing stores and armament can be added according to the version you choose. We recommend laying the gray camouflage shades on with an airbrush, bringing out the panel lines with a fine wash and unifying the whole with a semi-matte coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
