An accessory of metal and photo-etched sheet intended for the exterior surface of a model. It is aimed at the areas that are visible on a finished aircraft at first glance and where the thickness of plastic shows most: the edges of covers and doors, mesh and small protrusions. This is not a kit; the aircraft has to be your own.
The F-35B Lightning II is a single-engine combat aircraft in the form for short takeoff and vertical landing. The combination of a lift fan behind the cockpit, a swiveling rear nozzle and roll posts in the wing called for a range of moving doors on the upper and lower sides of the airframe, which from a modeling point of view is the most interesting part of the surface.
Before the metal parts are fitted it is usually necessary to remove plastic detail from the surface of the model. Use a scalpel and a flat sanding file, then smooth the area with fine paper, so that the part seats with no gap. Glue with thin superglue applied with the tip of a wire, so that it does not run across the painted area. Fit the metal parts according to the painting plan: whatever will have the same shade as the airframe, stick on before spraying, and metallic-bright elements only after the clear and the patina are finished.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
