The Pmask 1:48 Fw 190A set brings self-adhesive masks cut for the cockpit glazing of the German radial-engine fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
A Pmask masking set in 1:48 scale for a model of the Focke-Wulf Fw 190A fighter. It is an accessory for painting: the masks are cut to the shape of the clear parts of one particular kit of this version and they replace covering the glazing with masking tape by hand. The bubble canopy of the Fw 190 has many rounded surfaces on which tape breaks and crumples, which is why a ready-made mask is markedly more reliable.
The Fw 190A was the first large production series of the German single-engine fighter with a radial engine, which complemented the liquid-cooled types. It was marked by a sturdy structure, a wide landing gear and heavy gun armament. The A series went through many changes of armament and equipment during the war and became the basis for the later variants.
For modelers who build the Fw 190A in 1:48 scale and want a clean cockpit with sharply bounded frames.
The package contains masks only. The kit and the paints are not included.
