The GAZ-AA was a light two-axle truck of Soviet manufacture, based on a licensed American design. It was built in large numbers and became one of the most widespread commercial vehicles of its day. It served to carry loads and people, as a chassis for special bodies, and in the field it often worked in simple, stripped-down equipment. That is exactly why thin sheet items such as the fenders, running boards, brackets and grilles show up well on it.
Never glue photo-etched parts with cement for plastic; the joint would not hold. Use super glue applied in a minimal amount, best as a drop from a needle or a taut piece of wire; excess glue is visible on metal and hard to remove. Try the whole part dry first, and only then fix it. When bending long narrow parts, help yourself with a hard edge so that the bend does not ripple. Degrease the metal and prime it. The cab and the bed gain depth when you let a dark wash into the corners and seams and then soften the surface with a matte varnish.
The set is an accessory for a plastic kit, which is not included in the package. It is supplied unpainted; glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
