Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched metal set in 1:48 scale from Aber with holders and tightening clasps for the tools on German armored vehicles, in the simplified form used from roughly 1943. Etched metal lets you keep the real thickness of the strip and fix the pioneer tools on a fender more faithfully than plastic castings allow. This is an accessory for a plastic kit, not a standalone model.
From 1943 German armored vehicles were built with an eye to saving time and material. The simplification reached the small things as well, such as the holders for the pioneer tools, whose design was cut back markedly against the early types. For a modeler this detail is a reliable mark by which a vehicle from the later part of the war can be recognized.
Nip the parts from the etched fret and clean them up, make the bends on a bending tool or along the scored lines and glue them with cyanoacrylate glue. Degrease the metal before painting and go over it with a base coat for adhesion. In 1:48 scale the parts are very small, so sharp tweezers and good lighting pay off.
An accessory for a plastic kit. The model itself, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
