Hawker Hunter F.4/F.5 1:48 Eduard TFace masking templates are a set of masks for masking the cockpit glazing from the outside and from within. It is not a kit.

The TFace form differs from an ordinary masking set in holding templates shaped for both sides of the glazing. The cockpit can therefore be masked from the outside and from within, which lets you spray the inner frames in the interior shade and the outer frames in the camouflage color with nothing to outline with a brush. It is not a kit or a photo-etched set but an accessory for painting a model. The extent of the set and the number of templates are given by the manufacturer on the packaging.
The Hawker Hunter was among the most accomplished British postwar jet aircraft. It was a single-seat fighter with a swept wing, clean shapes and armament housed in a removable pack under the forward fuselage, thanks to which rearming was quick. The F.4 and F.5 versions are successive production forms that differ from one another above all in the powerplant used; in external shape they are close. The type served in many countries, went through a series of upgrades and flew in the strike and training roles long after it was withdrawn from fighter service.
Apply the inner masks first, while the glazing is still freely accessible, and spray the interior shade. Once dry, fit the glazing to the model and apply the outer templates. Press them down from the center toward the edges and smooth the edges carefully so that no paint runs underneath. Apply the paint in thin coats. Lift the masks with tweezers at a shallow angle while the finish is fresh. Sort the inner and outer pieces out in advance so that they do not get mixed up; in 1:48 scale the differences in shape are clearly apparent.
This is a modeling accessory. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
