1:48 Ammo Belt Flexible Cal.50 is a flexible ammunition belt of the heavy 12.7 mm caliber from the manufacturer GasPatch models, 300 mm long, for models in 1:48 scale.

This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The belt of heavy machine gun caliber is supplied as one continuous flexible piece 300 mm long and you divide it according to how many weapons you want to fit out. The rounds are noticeably larger than on the lighter Cal.30 variant, so in 1:48 scale they are clearly visible on a model.
The Cal.50 caliber, that is, 12.7 mm, was among the most widespread heavy machine gun armament of American equipment. You meet it in the wings of fighters, in the powered turrets and waist positions of bombers and on the mounts of vehicles and ships. A model with an open gun position or an open weapons panel gains a great deal from exactly this detail, because the ammunition belt is the first thing a viewer notices there.
Before cutting, try out on the model where the belt will run and how it should curve - the shape is easier to work out while the piece is longer. Cut with a sharp scalpel between the rounds so that the edges stay clean. Start the painting with a thin base coat, otherwise the finish will crack when bent; a brass shade suits the cases, and a darker metal or a dark tip the bullets, according to the type of ammunition chosen. A wash in the gaps between the rounds creates a shadow that deepens the belt visually, and final drybrushing brings the edges out. Fix it with a drop of cyanoacrylate glue and leave a short free end - it looks more alive than a belt glued down along its whole length.
The package contains the ammunition belt only. The weapon, the model, paints and glue are not part of it. The part is small and does not belong in the hands of small children.
