Photo-etched parts for a model of the British Hawker Hunter F.5 fighter in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The Hawker Hunter is a British single-seat jet fighter of the 1950s and is still regarded as one of the handsomest machines of its generation. It has a swept wing, one turbojet engine and four 30 mm cannon housed in a removable pack under the nose. The designation F.5 belongs to one of the fighter forms that appeared in the first half of the type's career.
Photo-etched parts for a model of the Hunter F.5 in 1:48 scale. Photo-etch is used where the material has to be really thin and where a plastic part looks too bulky even after sanding. The scope of the set and the exact placement of the individual parts are given in the manufacturer's instructions; read them before you close the fuselage, because some of the parts are fitted inside.
Separate the parts with a pass of a sharp blade on a hard surface and work over a tray, so that a lost piece can be found. Make the bends over a straight edge or in a bending tool, always in one movement; repeated bending fatigues the material. It is glued with super glue applied with the tip of a toothpick. Before painting, wash the photo-etch, degrease it and lay down a thin coat of primer, otherwise the paint will not hold on the smooth metal.
For the modeler for whom the contents of the box are no longer enough and who wants legible detail in the cockpit and on the small covers. The aircraft kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
