A detail upgrade set from HGW meant for models of the Hawker Hurricane fighter in 1:48 scale. The Basic Line range combines the two most useful accessories: realistic fabric seat belts and masking templates. It is not an aircraft model but a set for sharpening detail, with which you complete a basic plastic kit.
Its core is belts of printed microfabric, which behave like real cloth, can be bent and look very realistic; etched buckles go with them. The set also holds masking templates for easy, clean spraying of the glazing. The fabric parts are durable and stand up to the usual modeling products, filters for example.
Shape the belts gently for a natural fall of the cloth and attach the buckles with super glue. Lay the masks on degreased glazing and spray the paint in thin coats, so that it does not bleed under. The set is tied to one particular model, so check that it is compatible with your kit.
This is an accessory to a kit, not a stand-alone model. The basic kit, the paints and the glue are not included in the package.
