1:48 Il-10 late version, part two is a HAD models decal sheet following on from part one of the series. These are markings for a model, not a kit.

This is a sheet of decals in 1:48 scale from the Hungarian brand HAD models, that is, an accessory for a model you have already built and not a kit. This sheet is part two of a two-part series devoted to the late production version of the Soviet Ilyushin Il-10 ground-attack aircraft. Part one is a separate product with a part number of its own; the two sheets complement each other and neither depends on the other, so each can be used on its own.
The Il-10 came about as the direct successor to the Il-2 ground-attack aircraft and took over from it the idea of an armored tub protecting both the crew and the powerplant. The structure was all-metal and aerodynamically cleaned up, thanks to which the aircraft reached a higher speed and had better flying qualities. The crew consisted of a pilot and a rear gunner with a flexible weapon. After the war the type stayed in service with a number of European and Asian operators, and the postwar and license-built series differed in details of armament and equipment. For collectors of Eastern bloc aircraft it is one of the key ground-attack types of the transition to the jet era.
With a follow-on sheet it pays to plan the markings in advance — before you start applying, lay out on paper which designs belong on which machine, so that you do not use up a symmetrical pair on one side of the model. Work in the warm, as cold water slows the release of the film. On large designs use a soft brush, with which you can move the decal without risk of tearing. On the edges of covers and at the wing root it helps, once it is dry, to pierce any bubble with the tip of a scalpel and go over it again with softener. Once everything has dried, seal the surface with varnish — otherwise weathering solutions could run under the edge of the film.
