FLY 1:48 Jet Provost T.4 is a kit of the modernized version of the British jet trainer from the Czech brand FLY.

A short-run plastic kit of the British two-seat Jet Provost jet trainer in the more powerful T.4 version, in 1:48 scale. FLY is a Czech maker focused on short-run models. The package makes it possible to build a static model of this RAF training machine.
The Jet Provost T.4 was a more capable development of the T.3 range. It was powered by a stronger Armstrong Siddeley Viper turbojet, which gave it a better rate of climb and better performance in training. It kept the characteristic layout with two seats side by side and served with the training units of the Royal Air Force.
As with other short-run kits, it pays to dry-fit the parts, clean up the mold edges and adjust the gaps. Use thin cement for plastic, a base primer and an airbrush. The glazed cockpit comes out well once masked and with the interior painted before the fuselage is assembled.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
