An accessory set of landing gear bays and landing flaps for the model of the Japanese fighter Ki-43 in the I, II and III versions, in 1:48 scale. It is not a model of the aircraft but replacement parts. The Ki-43 is known for its unusual combat flaps, which the pilot extended in a turn to increase lift. Those in particular are worth building extended on a model, because they are characteristic of the type.
Separate the parts from the carriers with a fine saw and sand the cut surface down. Before painting, wash the material in lukewarm water with detergent and degrease it. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Finish and paint the bays before you close the wing up. With the flaps, decide the position in advance, because extended flaps call for an open space in the trailing edge. The inside of the wing on Japanese aircraft tends to be in a blue-green protective shade.
The set contains only the parts listed. Glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
