A figure of a member of the Kriegsmarine of the Second World War period, conceived as part of a ceremonial parade. It completes scenes by a Type VIIC submarine, which was the most numerous type of German submarine of the time and by far the most frequent subject for submarine models. It is the crew that gives such a scene its scale and life.
The figure is in 1:48 scale, so the figure stands just under four centimeters tall. At this size the cut of the uniform and the posture are already clearly legible, so the figure works on the deck of a submarine model, in a diorama as well as on its own on a base.
