The New Ware 1:48 Mask Ju-88C-6 EXPERT is a cut mask set in the widest scope offered. It is intended for building the heavy fighter version of the Ju 88 to show quality of finish.

The higher of the two levels in which the mask set for this version is offered. The word EXPERT concerns the scope, not the difficulty of applying it: the set covers a markedly wider range of areas than the basic BASIC variant, so you will need tape of your own only exceptionally. The larger number of cut pieces is what saves you the time.
The Ju 88 was among the most widespread twin-engine aircraft of its day and existed in dozens of versions. The C-6 variant is a heavy fighter conversion in which the glazed nose was replaced by a solid, unglazed one with heavy fixed armament. The airframe, the engine nacelles and the upper glazing of the cockpit remained close to the bomber versions, so the model still has plenty of glazed areas and intricate transitions.
Lay the mask on a dry, degreased and dust-free surface and press the edge down all the way around. Begin with a thin dusting coat of paint, which seals the edge, and build the shade up only after that; a heavy film of paint makes a ridge at the edge that is visible against the light once the mask is off. Hold the airbrush perpendicular to the surface; at a sharp angle the paint is blown in under the mask. Remove it as soon as the paint is dry to the touch, pulling at a shallow angle toward yourself.
The set is tailored to one specific kit, the ICM 48238. It is not a model or a kit, and paints are not included in the package.
