The most extensive variant of the 1:48 mask series for a model of the two-seat Chinese J-16 aircraft. The self-adhesive masks are cut to shape and prepared for one specific Hobby Boss kit. The set does not replace the model; it is an accessory for the painting stage.
The New Ware series is graded by scope. While BASIC deals mainly with the main glazing and ADVANCED adds further areas, EXPERT is the most complete variant in the range. It makes sense when you are building the model as a display piece and want the same level of cleanliness on the areas that are usually masked by hand with a poorer result. The exact contents are given on the box, because they differ from one aircraft type to another.
The J-16 is a two-seat multirole combat aircraft of the People's Liberation Army Air Force, following on from the line derived from the Su-27 and the domestic J-11. Its hallmark is the long glazing of the tandem cockpit, which is the most demanding part of the model to mask, because it is a large curved surface with several frames.
The package holds only the self-adhesive masks. The kit, paints and glue are not included.
