This is a resin detail accessory, not a model of an airplane. The set replaces the plastic air intakes (the side intakes) of a model with one-piece castings that faithfully capture the shape of the leading edges, the boundary layer splitter and the internal geometry of the duct.
Resin intakes give a Mirage F.1B model in 1:72 scale sharper and more accurate intake lines than the basic injection-molded plastic offers. They do away with the laborious filling and sanding of the seams in the delicate area of the intakes.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent and cut off the casting blocks. Dry-fit them and adjust the mating faces if need be. It is bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Do any sanding of resin with respiratory protection, and apply a primer before painting.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and the base model are not included in the package.
