The masking set 1:48 Su-35 Flanker-E ADVANCED from the New Ware brand. An accessory for masking while painting a model; it is not a kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This item is a modeling accessory, not a kit. The set from the New Ware brand in 1:48 scale holds pre-shaped self-adhesive masks that are stuck onto the surfaces that are to stay free of paint before spraying. The ADVANCED designation distinguishes this set from the other levels in the same series, which are sold separately. The scope of the individual levels is stated on the box; choose the variant that matches your needs from it.
The Su-35 is a single-seat twin-engine supersonic combat aircraft derived from the Su-27 design family. It has a strengthened structure, modernized avionics and engines with thrust vectoring. The aerodynamic layout with a smooth transition between the fuselage and the wing and with the engine nacelles separated from the fuselage gives the aircraft a large internal volume and also carries extensive canopy glazing. It is exactly that large glazed area with few frames that is the place on a model where any inaccuracy in masking shows up.
Degrease the glazing and let it dry out thoroughly, otherwise the masks will not hold. Place them with tweezers and press the edges down so that they seal all the way around. Spray the frames first in the interior shade, then in the base color and finally in the outer finish. With the gray schemes of modern aircraft it pays to work at low pressure and with thinned paint, so that the transitions stay soft. Take the masks off soon after the paint has dried; on an older finish they come away less easily and can tear the edge off.
This is an accessory for a model, not a kit. The plastic model, paints and glue are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise. We recommend checking the fit with your kit before buying.
