The MiG-21PFM is one of the widespread versions of the Soviet supersonic fighter aircraft MiG-21. It is an interceptor with a small delta wing and a circular air intake in the nose, into which a radar is built. Against the older versions the PFM is told above all by the cabin: a fixed windscreen and a canopy hinged to the side replaced the earlier one-piece canopy tilting forward. The aircraft was built in enormous numbers and served in dozens of countries, including the former Czechoslovakia.
The set replaces the instrument panel from the kit with a finished color element. The instrument panel is the most conspicuous detail in a cabin, because it is visible under the glazing, and at the same time it is what injection-molded parts manage worst. The designation given in the name sets the form for the gray shade of the interior apart from the green one, which the manufacturer lists separately.
Go by the instructions from the manufacturer; the way of fixing differs between the individual sets of this range. If the package holds film elements, check in the instructions before applying them whether they are self-adhesive. A soaked self-adhesive film is irretrievably ruined, whereas a decal that has not been soaked can be soaked afterward. Free the surface the element is to go onto of dust and grease in advance.
