The box holds injection-molded plastic, clear parts and a decal sheet with several marking options. The model has a teardrop canopy and a slender laminar-flow wing.
The North American P-51 Mustang was an American single-engine fighter aircraft with a long range, which became one of the most successful fighters of the Second World War. The Royal Air Force operated late versions of the P-51 under the designations Mustang Mk.IV and Mk.IVa. With its Rolls-Royce Merlin engine the machine escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory.
Separate the parts with a sharp knife and glue them with liquid cement for plastic. Align the wing root and the canopy carefully. Apply the metallic and camouflage finishes with an airbrush, use a gloss clear coat before the decals to prevent silvering, and even out the surface with an overcoat at the end.
