A set of self-adhesive Eduard painting masks in 1:48 scale intended for a model of the American North American P-51D Mustang fighter. The masks are die-cut from kabuki masking tape and make clean spraying of the cockpit glazing and the edges of the wheels easier. It is not a kit but a masking accessory.
The P-51D Mustang was one of the most successful fighters of the Second World War. The D version, with its characteristic teardrop canopy and a Packard Merlin engine, offered an excellent view and a great range, thanks to which it escorted bomber formations deep over enemy territory.
The teardrop canopy of the Mustang masks well with a stencil. Stick the mask onto degreased glazing, press it against the frames and spray with an airbrush in thin coats. On natural metal schemes, take care over a smooth base, because the masks will leave the edges crisp and clean.
This is an accessory (painting masks), not a model. The kit, paints and glue are not included in the package.
