This product is a resin detail set intended to improve a model of the F-4B Phantom II fighter-bomber in 1:48 scale. The accessory from the Czech manufacturer Black Dog adds finely cast elements of electronics and avionics, which replace or complete the simplified parts of the base kit. Please note that this is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory that needs a separately bought F-4B kit in this scale.
Open panels and avionics bays are among the striking elements with which a model can be brought to life. The set makes it possible to present the internal equipment realistically, where injection molds tend to leave it merely suggested. The real subject is the McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom II, a two-seat twin-engine supersonic machine of the US Navy and Marine Corps of the 1960s, committed among other places over Vietnam.
First wash the remains of mold release agent off the parts, cut the casting blocks away carefully and join them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Protect your airways while sanding resin and work wet. Before painting we recommend a filler primer, which evens the surface of resin and plastic out.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted; it is not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
