Photo-etched seat belts Seatbelts Luftwaffe Bombers 1:48 from Eduard. Pre-colored metal harness belts for the cabins of German bombers; it is not a standalone model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched set of seat harness belts in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Eduard. It holds pre-colored metal belts intended for the cabins of Luftwaffe bombers of the Second World War. It is an accessory, not a standalone model; the belts are fitted to the seats of the kit and replace or complete the plastic version. The particular contents follow the instructions in the package.
Seat belts were part of the equipment of every pilot's and crew member's seat in Luftwaffe bombers. Large aircraft used multi-point harness systems that held the crew in place during maneuvers and in turbulence. Faithfully rendered belts are among the details that noticeably bring an otherwise empty cabin interior to life in scale.
The belts are supplied already pre-colored, so there is no need for demanding painting. The parts are carefully cut from the fret, shaped into a natural sag and glued with super glue (cyanoacrylate) into the seats and around them. The metal material makes it possible to bend the buckles and the ends of the belts realistically. This is a universal set that can be used for several types of German bombers in that scale.
This is an accessory, not an aircraft model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
