Soviet Aces in Yakovlev Yak-3, Part II 1:48 is a decal sheet from AML with two further schemes of the aircraft of Soviet fighter aces on the Yak-3, for models in 1:48 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
The second part of this decal series in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker AML follows on with two further schemes of Yakovlev Yak-3 aircraft flown by Soviet fighter aces at the end of the Second World War. The set offers the personal markings of specific machines. AML is a Czech maker known for dense register and thin film.
The Yak-3 stood out as a light and agile fighter capable of combat at low altitude and was highly regarded by foreign pilots as well. In the final stage of the war it operated on many fronts, including central Europe. The set captures the individual markings and the red stars of the machines flown by successful aces.
Coat the surface with a gloss clear finish, release the decal in warm water, put it in place and press the remaining water out with a cloth; over detail a softener helps. Finally even out the surface with a matte or semi-gloss clear coat.
This is an add-on decal sheet. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
