The most comprehensive variant of the line joins three elements: boarding ladders to both cockpits in the early form, chocks placed under the wheels and a separate service ladder used when working on the airframe and the engines. Everything is of resin in 1:48 scale. This is an accessory for a built model, not a kit of the aircraft; the exact number of parts can be found on the packaging.
The service ladder shifts the scene from the mere boarding of the crew to maintenance. It makes it possible to build a scene in which a technician works on the spine of the airframe or at the engine nacelles while the machine stands on its chocks and a boarding ladder leads to both cockpits. The two-seat version of the Su-27 with its cockpits one behind the other positively invites such a scene, because the ground crew around it always have something to do.
Cements for plastic do not dissolve resin, so a joint holds only mechanically and everything depends on how it is prepared. Use cyanoacrylate glue, ideally a thicker gel variant, which gives a few seconds to adjust the position of the part. Roughen the mating surface with sandpaper beforehand and apply a minimum of glue, otherwise the excess will run out and flood the surrounding detail. An activator cures the joint instantly, but leaves a white veil, so apply it sparingly and from a distance.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
