Su-30 ladders with chocks and a service ladder 1:48 is the most comprehensive resin set of LP Models ground equipment for this machine. It complements a finished model; it is not a kit of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The most complete variant of the line for the Su-30 joins boarding ladders to both cockpits, chocks placed under the wheels and a separate service ladder intended for work on the airframe. Everything is cast from resin in 1:48 scale. This is an accessory for a built model, not a kit of the aircraft; the number of parts can be found on the packaging.
The Su-30 is a two-seat multirole aircraft derived from the two-seat version of the Su-27 line. With all three elements of the set, a whole airfield scene can be built around a model at once: the machine stands on chocks, a boarding ladder leads to both cockpits and a service ladder is wheeled up to the fuselage. There is nothing to buy in addition and nothing to make for yourself.
With a more numerous set it pays to work through it in groups rather than part by part. First degrease all the castings in warm water with a drop of detergent, rinse them and let them dry overnight, then prime them all at once and only paint at the very end. That saves you repeated drying and, above all, gives you the certainty that no part is left with a layer of mold release agent on which paint will not hold. The primer also evens the shade of the resin out and reveals the scratches left by sanding before the covering paint hides them.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. It is not a model of the aircraft but an accessory for it. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
