The BIG ED line is a way of buying the accessories for one model all at once and in a single box. The package brings together several separate sets from the Czech manufacturer Eduard that all concern the same aircraft, and adds a common set of instructions. It is not a kit: the contents are meant to improve a model that has to be bought separately. Which particular individual sets the package contains is printed on the packaging.
The Sukhoi Su-27 is a Soviet twin-engine air superiority fighter with a long range. It is typified by the blended transition between fuselage and wing, a pair of vertical tails and engine nacelles mounted separately under the fuselage. The Su-27S version is the single-seat combat variant. Its size and the broken-up nature of its surfaces make it a rewarding subject for detailing, where accessory sets show to real effect.
Cut the etched parts off the fret with a sharp scalpel on a hard surface, not with nippers, or the metal sheet will twist. Make the folds over a steel rule or in a bending tool. Use cyanoacrylate glue on the metal in small amounts; any excess dries into a white film. If masks are part of the package, apply them to perfectly dry varnish and remove them shortly after spraying, while the paint is still flexible.
The package contains accessories only. The kit, paints and glue are not part of the delivery, unless stated otherwise.
