Hauler 1:48 T-34/76 mod. 1942 from Factory No. 112 photo-etched detail set is a metal accessory for the model of the Soviet medium tank in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit but a set of parts for sharpening one up.
Responsibility details are not available.
A photo-etched detail set from the Czech maker Hauler for the model of the Soviet T-34/76 medium tank in the 1942 version built at Factory No. 112. The set is cut for the Hobby Boss kit and serves to replace coarse plastic parts with thin metal. The model itself is not included in the package.
During the war the T-34 was built in several factories at the same time and the machines differed from one another more than might be expected. Factory No. 112 in Gorky used a turret casting of its own and its vehicles also differed in small details on the hull, the grab handles and the stowage of equipment. The 1942 version carried a 76.2 mm gun. For a modeler that has a practical consequence: accessories are not freely interchangeable between production variants and you have to stick to a specific batch.
First go through the whole fret and plan the order of work, because parts that lie under others are glued first. Separate the photo-etch with a scalpel on a hard surface, not with nippers. Degrease the metal before gluing and let it dry out properly. Apply super glue in a minimal amount with a pin; any excess turns white once dry and can only be removed mechanically. At the end apply a thin primer and only then the paint, so that the coat does not rub off during handling.
The set is an accessory for a kit. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
