1:48 T-50A Golden Eagle, T-X Program is a plastic kit of the T-50A trainer and light combat aircraft in 1:48 scale from the maker Wolfpack, in a boxing devoted to the T-X program.

The model captures the T-50A, that is the variant of the supersonic Golden Eagle trainer offered for the American T-X program to replace older training machines. It is supplied as an injection-molded plastic kit, unassembled and unpainted. The boxing is tied precisely to the appearance of the aircraft from the T-X program, which shows above all in the finish and markings. The T-50 Golden Eagle is a single-engine supersonic trainer with tandem cockpits, side air intakes and a mid-mounted wing with leading-edge root extensions. It was created as a modern machine for the advanced training of jet pilots and in further versions developed into light combat variants as well. The T-50A variant was prepared for the American competition for a new trainer and differed from the basic standard in its equipment and in modifications arising from the requirements of the specification.
On a trainer the tandem cockpit is visible along the whole length of the glazing, so finish the interior carefully and test the seating dry before you close the fuselage up. The side air intakes tend to have a visible internal seam on models in this scale, so it pays to fill and sand it over before the ducts are blanked off. The gear bays and legs are clearly visible on a slender aircraft and their clean execution sells the final impression. The finish of program machines tends to be a combination of several areas, so mask in layers and check the edges against the light. Spray gloss clear coat under the decals and close the model with satin or matte.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
