Hauler 1:48 Tiger I Ausf. E is a photo-etched detail set for the plastic kit of the heavy tank given in the name of the product. It replaces simplified plastic parts with metal in a real thickness.
Responsibility details are not available.
The product is not a kit of the tank but a set of photo-etched metal parts intended for the Tamiya kit. Photo-etched metal arises by chemically etching the detail out of a thin metal sheet, so a part can be of a thickness comparable to paper and still carry relief. On a large machine articulated by flat surfaces that tells mainly on the covers, tool brackets, protective plates and small fittings.
The Tiger I Ausf. E was a German heavy tank of the Second World War with an 88 mm gun and heavy frontal armor. It was produced in comparatively small numbers, it was technically demanding to maintain and its weight limited the passability of bridges as well as moves under its own power. In modeling it is among the most frequently built subjects, which explains the breadth of the range of accessories.
Lay the work out according to the instructions before the first cut. Deal first with the parts calling for modification of the plastic, then the flat covers and last the small fittings that would break off during further handling. Glue the tool brackets on only once the tools themselves are in place, as otherwise you will have no clearance. Degrease the metal and spray on a base coat, and only then paint. On metal parts a wash and a dry brush stand out more markedly than on plastic, so proceed in thin coats and keep checking under the same light in which the model will be displayed.
The set is an accessory, not a model. The base kit, glue, paints and tools are not included in the package.
