A resin figure of an American fighter pilot in a seated pose, together with a model of an ejection seat. The set is meant to bring the cockpit of the American supersonic F-100 Super Sabre fighter in the C and D versions to life. The figure and the seat are both cast in resin and are supplied unpainted.
The North American F-100 Super Sabre was the first production supersonic fighter of the US Air Force and belonged to the so-called Century series. The F-100C and F-100D versions served as fighter-bombers, among other things during the Vietnam War. The pilot is dressed in period gear with a helmet and an oxygen mask.
Cut the parts off the casting blocks, wash them free of mold release agent residue and glue them with cyanoacrylate. For the best result apply a primer and shade and highlight the shades of the figure's gear. The seat comes out best once the harness and the handles are picked out.
The accessory is supplied unpainted and, as an aftermarket set, it calls for a more experienced hand. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
