Resin figures of a pilot and an operator with ejection seats for the A-37 Dragonfly in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus. Two crew figures to be painted, not a model.
Responsibility details are not available.
A resin set of two aircrew figures with ejection seats for the A-37 Dragonfly light jet attack aircraft, in 1:48 scale from Aerobonus (the Aires range). It is not an aircraft model but a set of accessory figures with seat parts, meant to be painted and fitted into the cockpit of a matching model. The set is designed for A-37 Dragonfly kits in this scale.
The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly was a twin-engine jet light attack and counter-insurgency (COIN) machine with side-by-side seats, developed during the Vietnam War. The cockpit was normally manned by the pilot, joined in observation and forward air control (FAC) duties by a second crew member beside him. It is exactly such a pair that the set represents.
Wash the resin parts to remove mold release residue, cut off the casting blocks and clean up the joints with respiratory protection. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the figures before seating them in the cockpit; primer works well, along with matte shades for the flight suits and helmets, while the harness straps come into their own with a dry brush and glazing.
The figures are supplied unpainted and cast in resin, meant to be glued together and painted. Paints, glue and the aircraft model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
