An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet experimental aircraft Sukhoi S-32MK Hybrid in 1:72 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer Modelsvit. The model captures a development prototype from the Su-17 family with a richly detailed surface and fine engraved detail. In the package there are plastic parts and a decal sheet.
The S-32 designation belonged to the development line of Soviet fighter-bombers with a variable-geometry wing, out of which the production Su-17 came. The Hybrid prototype represented one of the transitional experimental forms of the airframe in the search for the final configuration. It is a less usual subject, valued by those who know Soviet aircraft.
Glue the plastic with a thin model cement and give the parts careful cleaning up of the parting lines. We recommend a base coat and an airbrush; the detailed surface comes out well after a fine patina and accenting of the engraved lines. This is a kit for more experienced modelers.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
