This bundle from the Greek manufacturer GasPatch holds four resin replicas of the British Lewis Mk.I aircraft machine gun in the form with a barrel cooling jacket, in 1:48 scale. The package is a detail accessory for modelers, not a kit of an airplane in its own right.
The Lewis was a British light machine gun of 7.7 mm caliber (.303) with a characteristic cylindrical cooling jacket and a pan magazine. On the aircraft of the Great War it served most often as the observer's flexible weapon or as a machine gun above the upper wing. The casting captures the barrel jacket, the body of the weapon and the magazine.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and bond them with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Sand with respiratory protection. Bring out the metal surfaces with steel shades and a fine dry brush.
This is a resin detail accessory, not a complete model. Glue, paints and the kit are not included in the package.
