An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian subsonic trainer and attack aircraft Yak-130, Mitten in the NATO code, in 1:48 scale. The kit offers a generous breakdown of parts, an openable canopy with the option of placing pilot figures inside, clear parts, decals and instructions. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The Yak-130 is a modern two-seat trainer able to simulate the flying characteristics of a range of combat types, so it serves for advanced pilot training. Thanks to nine hardpoints and the matching avionics it can also act as a light attack machine for strike, reconnaissance and bombing duties. The tandem cockpit with digital equipment and the powerful engines make it a versatile machine in present-day air forces.
Finish and paint the cockpit interior and the instrument panels before closing the fuselage; an open canopy comes into its own with a carefully painted cockpit. Paint the underwing stores separately and fit them last. We recommend a primer, a masked camouflage finish and decals under a protective coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
